Title: Multimodal Imaging of Astrocytic Hamartomas Associated With Tuberous Sclerosis. Author: Schwartz SG, Harbour JW. Journal: Ophthalmic Surg Lasers Imaging Retina; 2017 Sep 01; 48(9):756-758. PubMed ID: 28902337. Abstract: An 11-year-old patient was diagnosed with tuberous sclerosis complex based on retinal and cutaneous findings and confirmed by genetic testing. Spectral-domain optical coherence tomography (OCT) demonstrated subtle solid intraretinal tumors that focally replaced the inner retina and displaced the outer retinal layers. OCT angiography demonstrated prominent intrinsic vascularity but no feeder vessels. [Ophthalmic Surg Lasers Imaging Retina. 2017;48:756-758.].[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
