Abstract: Postpartum depression is frequently observed in women. First-line antidepressants in treatment of postpartum depression are selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Although SSRIs are well tolerated by most breastfed infants, some adverse events may arise in exposed infants.
