Abstract: OBJECTIVE: We aimed to evaluate the value of 3D pseudocontinuous arterial spin-labeling (pCASL) perfusion imaging detected crossed cerebellar diaschisis (CCD) at different stages of intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). MATERIALS AND METHODS: We assessed bilateral cerebral blood flow (CBF) values of different brain regions and the relationships between the CCD and clinical status of 16 ICH patients. RESULTS: The ICH patients had significantly lower CBF values in the contralateral cerebellum in acute, subacute and chronic stages. The subacute CCD had a significant correlation with clinical status. CONCLUSIONS: 3D pCASL may be an ideal tool to study the phenomenon and clinical consequences of ICH with CCD.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
