  • Title: Hemispheric asymmetry in processing of verbal material by left-handers.
    Author: Czachowska-Sieszycka B, Szelag E.
    Journal: Physiol Bohemoslov; 1985; 34 Suppl():21-4. PubMed ID: 2941791.
    Abstract:
    In our experiments we studied the laterality differences in a word-matching task for 16 strongly right-handed and 10 strongly left-handed female subjects. The results showed the right visual-field advantage for left-handers. Right-handed subjects performed the task faster than left-handed subjects. For both tested groups mean reaction times for the "same" responses were shorter than for "different" responses.
