Author: Allegue Rodriguez F, Sendagorta Gomendio E, Freire Murgueytio P, Moreno Izquierdo R, Ledo Pozueta A. Journal: Med Cutan Ibero Lat Am; 1988; 16(1):43-9. PubMed ID: 2967409. Abstract: We present herein our experience concerning the use of etretinate and methotrexate as concurrent therapies in three patients with severe psoriasis. On this regimen, rapid clearing of the psoriatic lesions has been achieved in all patients. The efficacy, safety, indications and dosage schedules for this combination therapy are discussed. No significant side effects have been observed in our patients. However, caution must be exercised in the use of this experimental combination regimen, which should only be used in severe psoriasis.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
