Abstract: Ossifying fibroma is a rare benign osteogenic neoplasm arising from undifferentiated cells of the periodontal ligament and with a potential to form fibrous tissue, cementum and bone, which is usually in molar area of the mandible, predominantly seen in young girls. And ossifying fibroma poses diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties due to their clinical, radiological and histological variabilities.
