Abstract: Multiple sclerosis is one of the most common causes of chronic neurologic disease in adults. Although the exact pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis is unknown, evidence suggests that it is an autoimmune disease. Recent studies have shown a possible significant beneficial effect of cyclophosphamide in the treatment of multiple sclerosis.
