    Abstract:
    Electron microscopical investigations of cutaneous warts induced by HPV-1 and HPV-4 did not show any differences regarding the ultrastructural morphology of infected cells. There are, however, differences in respect to the degree of the cellular disturbance: Cells rich in particles revealed greater damages than those only showing small amounts of viral particles.
