Abstract: The purified regulatory (R) and catalytic (C) subunits of cAMP dependent protein kinase (cAK) from the primitive eukaryote Dictyostelium discoideum have been compared with the homologous proteins from bovine heart by SDS-PAGE followed by Western blotting using polyclonal antibodies.
