Title: Conversion of 111In-oxine to 111In trichloride by acid hydrolysis. Author: Wong DW. Journal: Int J Rad Appl Instrum A; 1987; 38(1):70. PubMed ID: 3030971. Abstract: The lipophilic complex 111In-oxine was converted back to 111InCl3 by acid hydrolysis with 0.1 N HCl. Greater than 99% of the starting material was converted to 111InCl3 with a purity of 99.6%. Unlabeled oxine was completely removed by chloroform extraction. Current experimental data suggest that 111In-oxine is unstable in weak acidic medium.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
