Title: Mitigating Cholera in the Aftermath of Cyclone Idai. Author: Chen WH, Azman AS. Journal: Am J Trop Med Hyg; 2019 Nov; 101(5):960-962. PubMed ID: 31333158. Abstract: Catastrophic damage and floods followed the deadliest cyclone on record for the Southern Hemisphere. In the aftermath of Cyclone Idai, a cholera outbreak was detected. We urge the international community to continue to highlight the importance of water, sanitation, and hygiene as the long-term goal for controlling cholera and meeting the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
