  • Title: Tuberculosis granuloma in the midbrain causing wall-eyed bilateral internuclear ophthalmoplegia (Webino).
    Author: Inocencio FP, Ballecer R.
Journal: J Clin Neuroophthalmol; 1985 Mar; 5(1):31-5. PubMed ID: 3156886.
    Abstract:
A 24-year-old female developed bilateral internuclear ophthalmoplegia with exotropia and loss of convergence, in association with a tuberculous granuloma situated in the midline midbrain at the level of the third ventricle. We labeled this case Webino (after Martin Lubow), and to our knowledge, this is the first reported case occurring in association with an intraparenchymal tuberculous granuloma.
