Title: Extrinsic allergic alveolitis caused by spores of the oyster mushroom Pleurotus ostreatus. Author: Cox A, Folgering HT, van Griensven LJ. Journal: Eur Respir J; 1988 May; 1(5):466-8. PubMed ID: 3169217. Abstract: Four mushroom workers have developed an extrinsic allergic alveolitis, after working with the oyster mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus). Antibodies against the spores were assessed in the blood of these patients.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
