Title: Glycoprotein distribution in non-histone chromatin proteins from pig liver. Author: Ferraro A, Antonilli L, D'Erme M, Eufemi M, Rosei MA, Spoto G. Journal: Ital J Biochem; 1988; 37(4):213-8. PubMed ID: 3182244. Abstract: Carbohydrate content of non-histone proteins from pig liver chromatin has been measured in different groups of chromatin fractions and does not seem to be related to the affinity of the proteins for DNA. Glycoproteins are preferentially located in the nuclease-sensitive fractions of chromatin. A 59,000 dalton glycoprotein has been identified as a characteristic components of a chromatin fraction solubilized by DNAase II.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
