Abstract: Downbeat nystagmus has been associated with an increasing number of neurologic disorders, yet, it has only rarely been described in multiple sclerosis. Two patients with downbeat nystagmus secondary to multiple sclerosis are presented. In one, the nystagmus cleared completely in three weeks.
