Title: Rotatory nystagmus in infantile esotropia. Author: Clarke WN, Noël LP, Blaylock JF. Journal: Can J Ophthalmol; 1988 Oct; 23(6):270-2. PubMed ID: 3203240. Abstract: We reviewed the charts of 119 children with infantile esotropia followed for 27 months to 16 years (average 82.5 months). Of the 119, 14 (12%) had fine (high frequency, low amplitude) rotatory nystagmus. The presence of the nystagmus may account for a decline in visual acuity of up to two lines under binocular viewing conditions.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
