    Abstract:
    A 22-year-old Jordanian woman with enlarged cervical lymph nodes proved histologically to be suffering from necrotizing lymphadenitis; she recovered spontaneously. She had remained in good health at four years follow up. This is the first case reported from Jordan. The clinical picture, etiology, histopathology, course and differential diagnosis of the disorder are discussed.
