Title: Hemosuccus pancreatitis due to a ruptured splenic artery pseudoaneurysm - diagnosis and endovascular management. Author: Mohan SC, Srinivasan S, Paul SPL, Chung R, Natarajan SK. Journal: J Radiol Case Rep; 2020 May; 14(5):7-15. PubMed ID: 33082922. Abstract: Hemosuccus pancreatitis is a rare and potentially fatal cause of upper gastrointestinal bleeding characterized by hemorrhage from the ampulla of Vater via the pancreatic duct. This was identified on contrast-enhanced computed tomography imaging and successfully managed via microcoil embolization.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
