Title: Comparison trial of clindamycin with aztreonam or gentamicin in the treatment of postpartum endometritis. Author: Greenberg RN, Reilly PM, Weinandt WJ, Wilson KM, Bollinger M, Ojile JM. Journal: Clin Ther; 1987; 10(1):36-9. PubMed ID: 3329963. Currently, the combination of clindamycin and an aminoglycoside constitutes a treatment of choice for this condition. Our results suggest that aztreonam can be substituted for an aminoglycoside in the treatment of postpartum endometritis with similar clinical outcomes.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
