Title: [Differential courses of development in children born with hemolytic disease of newborn]. Author: Rösler HD, Springstein HJ. Journal: Zentralbl Gynakol; 1988; 110(1):25-34. PubMed ID: 3354275. Abstract: Repeated psychological investigations were performed in a group of 124 children who received exchange transfusions due to morbus haemolyticus neonatorum as newborns. Their psychomotoric development was compared with a control group without exchange transfusions. In the Mhn-children a lower level of cognitive capacity was observed. There was a higher percentage of mental retardation and of handicaps. The distribution between female and male children was nearly equal.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
