Abstract: Small-bowel enema was performed in 536 patients referred for suspected malabsorption, enteritis, abdominal pain or obstruction. Lesions were found in 54% of cases. The positivity of the investigation was particularly high in clinically well-defined cases, such as suspected obstruction (80%) and enteritis (72%).
