Abstract: Investigation of diphosphothiamine content in the mouse tissues, associated with transketolase activity in the dynamic dependence on the body provision with vitamin B1, has proved the organ-specificity of deposition and elimination of diphosphothiamine under conditions of developing thiamine deficiency.
