Title: [The role of hemorheological disorders in the development of postoperative thrombosis of the deep veins of the legs]. Author: Aleksandrova NP, Petukhov EB, Golovina LA, Karalkin AV. Journal: Vestn Khir Im I I Grek; 1987 Oct; 139(10):98-102. PubMed ID: 3452273. Abstract: The interrelationship between hemorheological alterations (hyperviscosity of blood, lower deformability of erythrocytes, elevated aggregation activity of thrombocytes) developing prior to and during operation and the development of intra- and postoperative thromboses of profound veins of lower extremities was studied by results of examination of 70 surgical patients. It was found that in 44% of the patients the initial phase of thrombosis can be diagnosed within the first 3 hours after operation. Risk factors of the development of thrombosis are high preoperative viscosity of blood, circulating thrombocyte aggregates, low fibrinolytic activity of plasma.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
