Abstract: Trigeminal neuropathy (TNO) manifests with unilateral or bilateral facio-oral sensory disturbances accompanied by pain and trigeminal nerve dysfunction. Although TNO may be posttraumatic or idiopathic, a thorough history and examination including magnetic resonance imaging is needed to exclude the multitude of secondary TNO causes.
