Abstract: Three hundred twenty-three children with hypertension due to different kidney disorders were analysed. Acute transient hypertension was the most frequent form of renal hypertension and was usually due to acute post-infectious glomerulonephritis. Chronic hypertension was frequently associated with renal insufficiency.
