Title: Nocardial endocarditis of an aortic valve prosthesis. Author: Ertl G, Schaal KP, Kochsiek K. Journal: Br Heart J; 1987 Apr; 57(4):384-6. PubMed ID: 3555567. Abstract: The organism responsible for endocarditis of a prosthetic aortic valve was identified as Nocardia asteroides.
