  • Title: [Informativeness of different methods of visual stimulation in optochiasmatic arachnoiditis].
Author: Lebedev VV, Sklovskaia ML, Zav'ialova EK.

    Abstract:
A comparative assessment of the informative value of visual evoked potentials (VEPs) has demonstrated that registration of VEPs in response to a diffuse flash of light makes it possible to objectively evaluate the status of the visual analyzer and to trace the course of the development and regression of the pathological process. In a long-term period of the recovery of the visual function in order to elucidate fine mechanisms of visual perception and to achieve objective optical correction of visual acuity, it is advisable to use VEPs in response to a structural stimulus.
