Abstract: Common complications of amebic liver abscesses include rupture into the thorax, pericardium, and peritoneum. Rupture into the gastrointestinal tract is extremely rare. We report a case of an amebic liver abscess rupturing into the duodenum, forming a wide fistulous tract.
