  • Title: [The Maffucci syndrome. Apropos of a case].
    Author: Fournié B, Moine P, Mansat M, Fournié A.
    Journal: Phlebologie; 1987; 40(2):287-93. PubMed ID: 3615603.
    Abstract:
Maffucci's syndrome is a particularly rare clinical form of dyschondroplasia. It combines angiomatosis, chondromatosis and sometimes dyschromic cutaneous lesions (Kast). It evolves into a neoplastic context in 20 to 50 p. cent of the cases, dominated by the risk of sarcomatous degeneration. The lesions are preferably located on the hands and the feet.
