  • Title: [Central hemodynamics and separate renal blood flow in different forms of arterial hypertension].
    Author: Kutsenko AI, Shpil'kin VI.
Journal: Kardiologiia; 1978 Nov; 18(11):72-7. PubMed ID: 364166.
    Abstract:
Separate renal blood flow was studied by the method of dye dilution (euviridine) in catheterization of the renal vessels during angiography. The method and techniques of catheterization of the arteries and veins and the sequence of manipulations in recording certain parameters of common and separate renal hemodynamics are described. The high informativeness of the method is shown and the complications which were encountered are described and discussed. It is noted that study of separate renal hemodynamics, particularly in renovascular hypertension, provides for objective appraisal of the functional state of the kidney both on the side of the stenosis and on the contralteral side.
