    Abstract:
    Chondrosarcoma morbidity in the Ukrainian SSR in 1973-1975 and 1978-1979 was studied. The yearly mean morbidity was established at 2.5 +/- 0.22 per 1 min population. Tumors were relatively more frequent in males and in rural areas. The highest morbidity levels in both sexes were registered in the age groups of 50-59 years. On the average, 120 new cases of chondrosarcoma are reported in the Republic annually.
