Title: [Kidney transplantation in the treatment of hypertension]. Author: Krneta A. Journal: Helv Chir Acta; 1979 Feb; 45(6):749-52. PubMed ID: 372139. Abstract: Renal autotransplantation seems to be of great value as a means of renal revascularization in hypertension of renovascular origin, especially in those cases in which the preceding angioplastic procedure have resulted in failure or in cases with peripheral or difficult stenoses of the renal artery. Two years later both kidneys are functioning normally and the patient is normotensive.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
