Title: Neonatal thoracoabdominal aortic thrombosis associated with the umbilical artery catheter: successful management by transaortic thrombectomy. Author: Himmel PD, Sumner DS, Mongkolsmai C, Khanna N. Journal: J Vasc Surg; 1986 Aug; 4(2):119-23. PubMed ID: 3735565. Our experience, in addition to that in the literature, suggests that aggressive treatment should be considered in neonates with this severe complication.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
