Title: [Effect of bromocriptine on 3H-dopamine uptake in hypothalamic synaptosomes of intact and adrenalectomized rats]. Author: Iatsyk MI. Journal: Vopr Med Khim; 1986; 32(5):60-2. PubMed ID: 3776119. Abstract: Intensity of 3H-dopamine uptake in hypothalamic synaptosomes was similar both in intact rats and in the animals which received a single administration of bromocriptine at a dose of 5 mg/kg within 4 hrs. Within 4 days after the drug administration incorporation of the label was increased 1.22-fold and 1.28-fold in intact and adrenalectomized rats, respectively. Alterations in dopamine uptake in hypothalamic synaptosomes caused by bromocriptine appear to be one of dopaminergic-dependent effects of the drug in the animal brain structures.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
