Abstract: The acute edematous capillaropathy of epipapillary and peripapillary radial vascolarization is an uncommon complication of type I Diabetes. Fluorescein angiography allows a reliable diagnosis to be made, because it provides good vision of the papilla and of the peripapillary posterior pole.
