    Abstract:
    The authors describe a case of retinopathy in a patient suffering from AIDS. A study of the Fundus of a 25 year-old homosexual and drug-addict suffering from AIDS revealed cotton wool spots and edema of the optic disc in both eyes. In this paper the authors reports increased lesions of the retina with the progression of the disease and discuss the role of the ophthalmologist in early diagnosis of AIDS.
