    Abstract:
    New findings in the morphology of generalized bone disorders are described in this report. The structure of the skeleton is the result of defined activity of the cellular units (osteoclasts and osteoblasts). The use of iliac crest bone biopsies and decalcified preparation procedures demonstrates the influence of cellular units on the skeleton as well as bone mineralization disturbances. The morphological results represent the basis for treatment as well as new therapeutical principles.
