  • Title: Efficacy of ketotifen in bronchial asthma.

    Abstract:
    Ketotifen was administered orally during a period of three months to 30 patients suffering from bronchial asthma. It proved to be a strong antiasthmatic agent and the results obtained were positive, i.e.: Excellent in 21 patients (70%), very good in 3 patients (10%), Good in 1 patient (4%), Poor in 5 patients (16%), The drug was very well tolerated and no signs of drug toxicity were observed. It is concluded that ketotifen is a very effective and safe drug for the prevention of bronchial asthma.
