Abstract: Vesiculobullous lesions of the upper aerodigestive tract are among the most frequently occurring disease processes of the oral soft tissues. Pemphigus vulgaris, mucous membrane pemphigoid, erythema multiforme, and erosive lichen planus are compared and contrasted with each other and with vesiculobullous eruptions of viral origin.
