    Abstract:
    Following a presentation of the various perineal lacerations and the positional changes which occur in the perivulvar area, the surgical correction of these lesions is discussed. Supplementary remarks to the usual surgical methods are made. Among others, a modified suture technique for correcting the combined laceration of Perineum-Ampulla recti-areal (third degree perineal laceration) and a modification of the method for correcting pneumovagina are described.
