  • Title: [Diagnosis of chronic occlusive diseases of the visceral branches of the abdominal aorta].
    Author: Zigmantovich IuM.
Journal: Vestn Khir Im I I Grek; 1985 Feb; 134(2):124-6. PubMed ID: 3923677.
    Abstract:
On the basis of the examination of 113 patients the author considers that patients with abdominal pains associated with the amount of food, progressing loss of weight, systolic noise in the projection of visceral arteries, positive nitroglycerine and thermal tests have high probability of detection of the syndrome of chronic abdominal ischemia. These signs should be taken into consideration when examining patients under conditions of the outpatient clinic and nonspecialized hospitals.
