  • Title: [Psychopathology of the late period of closed military craniocerebral injuries (non-psychotic forms)].
    Author: Bobrov AS.
Journal: Zh Nevropatol Psikhiatr Im S S Korsakova; 1985; 85(5):704-10. PubMed ID: 3927637.
    Abstract:
The author analyzes nonpsychotic disturbances at the late period of a combat closed craniocerebral injury (CCCI) in 97 veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Considerable differences were found in the incidence and structure of the organic decrease in mental activity, the psychoorganic syndrome as well as emotional-volitional and affective disorders, which depended on the clinical variant of the time-course at the late period of a CCCI. The author identified the following clinical variants: protracted decompensation of long-term sequels of a CCCI; cerebrovascular disease associated with residual manifestations of a CCCI; and a predominantly cerebrovascular disease in individuals with a history of a CCCI.
