Title: [Evaluation of two methods for detecting HBS antigen in serum (author's transl)]. Author: Martine J, Hasselot N, Berthet M. Journal: Med Trop (Mars); 1979; 39(6):657-8. PubMed ID: 393938. Abstract: Two methods of third generation are described: the inverse passive agglutination test and the immunoenzymologic method of the ELISA test. From 500 serum tests, it is suggested that ELISA test has a sensibility of 5,2 p. 100 superior to that of the inverse passive agglutination test which, in addition gives 1 p. 100 of false positive results. It must be noted that the ELISA test requires a very careful technical skill.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
