Abstract: By splenic imaging, a large focal defect was demonstrated in a symptomatic South American immigrant with simultaneous parasitic infestation of strongyloidiasis and entamebiasis. The CT scan also was thought to be abnormal. Pathologic findings reported a variation in splenic configuration.
