Title: [Multiple sclerosis and electronystagmography]. Author: Haas R. Journal: Wien Med Wochenschr; 1985 Jan 31; 135(1-2):34-5. PubMed ID: 3976236. Abstract: The electronystagmography (ENG) is a valuable auxiliary measure in the neurological diagnosis of diseases of the optic-vestibular system. ENG-results may also contribute to lesion localization of brainstem affections resulting from brain trauma, of vascular processes or tumours of the posterior cranial fossa, in spite of the EEG lacking any lesion signs. Therefore, the ENG constitutes a useful complement to the EEG-examination in the diagnosis of brainstem lesions.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
