  • Title: Posterior urethral polyps in infants and children.
    Author: Youssif M.
Journal: Eur Urol; 1985; 11(1):69-70. PubMed ID: 3987753.
    Abstract:
Two cases of posterior urethral polyps are reported. The literature was reviewed in regard to its frequency, origin, pathology, clinical presentations and treatment. It is considered that it is a non-neoplastic congenital defect. Because of its obstructive qualities, it is of clinical significance and should be considered as a separate entity in the evaluation of young boys with lower urinary tract symptoms.
