Author: Jeffery PC, Immelman EJ, Harries-Jones P.
    Journal: S Afr Med J; 1985 Apr 27; 67(17):692-4. PubMed ID: 3992392.
    Abstract:
Popliteal artery entrapment results from compression of the artery between the medial femoral condyle and the muscles of the popliteal fossa, either through an abnormal muscle origin or through an abnormal course of the artery. The consequence of this entrapment is intermittent claudication, often presenting at a young age. Two cases are presented with a brief review of the condition.
