Title: [Evaluation of psychological stress before general anesthesia]. Author: Regel H, Röse W, Hähnel S, Krause A. Journal: Psychiatr Neurol Med Psychol (Leipz); 1985 Mar; 37(3):151-5. PubMed ID: 4001226. Abstract: Pre-operative fear is not only a psychologically stressing phenomenon for the patient, but also a considerable risk factor due to its somatical correlative. Several factors which could have an anxiety-lessening or increasing effect and which are of importance for the psychological preparation for an operation were deduced from the investigation.[Abstract] [Full Text] [Related] [New Search]
