Title: Hypertensive emergencies. Author: Burris JF. Journal: Am Fam Physician; 1985 Jul; 32(1):97-109. PubMed ID: 4013967. A variety of neurologic, cardiac, renal and other conditions may underlie a hypertensive crisis.
