    Abstract:
    In elderly persons a circadian rhythm for total cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, beta-lipoproteins and triglycerides was observed. The other lipidic fraction do not have any evident circadian rhythm, although Apo-A has a statistical probability near the standard significance level for cosinor method. With exception of triglycerides, the amplitude of the rhythm is small.
